Shopkeeper Who Saved Lives At Paris Supermarket Terror Attack Given Heroic Welcome To Mali

L@.s.sana Bathily, the 24 year old Malian-born employee who saved the lives of several shoppers at Kosher supermarket during the Paris attack that left 4 dead on Jan. 9th was given a heroic welcome in Mali yesterday, 9 years after he left his birth country for France.

L@.s.sana was welcomed by Malian government officials led by the Malian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cheickkna Kamissoko. He and his father later had lunch with the Malian French Amb@.s.sador at the french emb@.s.sy in Mali.
